Llactapata

The first archaeological site of the trek, from the Km 81, is Llactapata. There are large Inca terraces, about 2 km. It was an agricultural center where farmers lived (from here the hundreds scattered houses) and also there are edifices with 2 levels, a very rare thing in Incas constructions and in preservation.
